English Student Fellowships
Our vision is that every single one of our students are:
GROW SPIRITUALLY in their personal walk in faith with Jesus
GROW ROOTS in the church family to anchor their faith
GROW CONFIDENCE to share their faith with others
OUR MISSION
We believe God has called us leaders, in partnership with parents, to the 5 “Es”:
EXALT – Give every opportunity to worship with our gifts and our talents. Every person has a way in which they can worship God and no one should be limited to a certain form of worship.
EQUIP – Give every student the capability to “do good works” in and around their immediate communities, whether it be in the church or outside of it.
EDIFY – Build up and encourage the youth to live righteously by putting God first in their lives.
EVANGELIZE – Give every opportunity for youth to invite their friends to church to experience Jesus in a personal way.
ENERGIZE – Give students the support they need to continue the Great Commission.

Click to read more about PAC.
Anthony has a passion for discipleship and mentoring students to pursue a deep, rich relationship with God.
Born and raised in Ottawa, he understands the core values and beliefs of the local culture and seeks to teach his students how to navigate that culture while still upholding a strong, vibrant faith.
Anthony’s vision for the student ministry is that they are able to love and care for one another more akin to a family than a church. His desire is to see the youngest students able to look up to university students, and conversely seeks to have university students who are willing and able to develop “big brother/big sister” bonds that will last long after they’ve left student ministry.
Having previously worked in Ottawa at SunnySide Wesleyan Church, Doulos Ministries, Indigenous youth, camp ministries and sports ministries, Anthony seeks to share his experiences with the youth while encouraging them to live their lives for Jesus.
Click to read more about Nat.
Natalie (or Nat) grew up in Ottawa and is a familiar face to OCAC brothers and sisters/aunties and uncles! She has a gentle spirit, a loving heart, and an enduring devotion to Christ. Nat has an angelic voice that she uses to sing songs of praises to our Lord and remind God’s people of the truth in His words and promises! She may come off as a quiet person but she’s a courageous woman who will gladly try new things to spend quality time with others!
Click to read more about Trung.
This is TRUNG also known as trungformer (on Zoom) and trungle – partner in crime with Lois. He is a friendly, welcoming, fun-loving and goofy guy, yet he has a gentle and caring soul. Growing up in a non-Christian household and making the decision to follow Jesus in his teenage years, he has an incredible testimony which he would not hesitate to share with you! He likes to fellowship with others through sports, cooking, and “social-eating”. Bonus: Trung has a great laugh…If you can get him to laugh, it might make you laugh too!!
Click to read more about Diana.
Diana is a boba-loving worship leader with a passion for serving the young minds of tomorrow. She moved all the way from Calgary–-the land of oil, wheat, and Alberta beef–-to share her love of God and joy with worship with you. You can spot her indulging in grandma-like hobbies like crocheting, or singing literally any song or tune that gets stuck in her head.
As someone who grew up with a chaotic youth group (in all the best ways), she knows just how important being a part of a vibrant community is when navigating life‘s problems. And she knows, high school is FULL of them. When life gives you lemons, you gotta give them to God because He makes the best lemonade. Ask Diana for her stories of how God worked in her and through her in the darkest of places. Whether you need to let off steam through an overdue rant or crying session, or whether you want to sing your heart out with praises to God in a jam session, Diana‘s there for you. And you can bet she‘ll be crying or jamming with you. But probably not both at the same time.
Click to read more about Dave.
David has been involved with student ministry for as long as he can remember (and that’s a long time). His passions are deeply rooted in seeing the potential of how we are each uniquely and wonderfully made.
His passions to mentor and disciple the students to reach their potential continues to invigorate and keeps him young at heart. To equip the youth of today, and enable them to take on the world of tomorrow, is his desire and goal.
Seeing the students reach an “ah-ha moment” is the most rewarding aspect and why this ministry is so rewarding.
Click to read more about Daniel.
Bonjour! C’est Daniel –Though this is as much french you’ll be hearing from him.
As a locally-grown Ottawan who was originally planted in the prairies and grafted over to Ontario, and an organic OCAC human, Daniel understands what it’s like to sprout up as a CBC and the importance of embracing diversity while keeping oneself rooted to our fundamental biblical principles. He’s excited about mentoring and helping students prune into a deeper connection with God so that they can go out into the harvest, making sure they are thriving in good soil. He’s down to earth and ready to chat about anything, from Jesus’ love for us to dogs to badminton to cell towers. You can find him easily. He’s literally everywhere: in the AV booth or at badminton or halfway up the gym installing lights. For the low low price of FREE IN CHRIST you can hit up Daniel; he’s just a message away on any social media platform!

Lois is an incredible dancer and she encourages our youth to worship God with their bodies as a whole. She thoroughly enjoys organizing church events with others, no matter if they’re small group activities or ministry-wide events.
