Our Core Values

  1. Anointed Teaching: We believe that anointed teaching is the catalyst for transformation in individual’s lives and for the formation of Christ-centred families. This includes the concept for teaching for life change, encouraging obedience to the Scriptures, not knowledge alone (James 1:22).
  2. Disciple-making: We believe the church is called to make disciples because lost people matter to God. This includes the concept of World mission support and targeting ministry to those outside the church (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Peter 3:9).
  3. Cultural relevance: We believe that the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure. This includes the use of music, the arts, and new methodology (1 Cor 9:19-23).
  4. Worship: We believe that personal and corporate worship is vital to the health of every Christian. This includes the spiritual disciplines of personal prayer and Bible study, thus building a dynamic personal relationship with God (2 Timothy 3:16).
  5. Spirit-filled life: We believe that every Christian should be Spirit-filled and fully committed to Christ. This includes commitment to a high moral-ethical standard, personal integrity, holiness and wholeness (Ephesians 4:25-26).
  6. Godly leadership: We believe the church is to be led by godly, gifted leaders who empower people for ministry. This includes pastoral leadership who can help equip others, according to their spiritual gifts, to serve God with fulfillment and fruitfulness (Ephesians 4:11b,12).
  7. Biblical community: We believe in biblical community because care, life change, spiritual growth, and authentic relationships are experienced in fellowship and cell groups. This includes the concept of care and ministry groups (Acts 2:42-47).
  8. Unified community: We believe that the church should be a loving, intergenerational, unified community of mutually accountable servants of Christ. This includes the concept of affirmation, confrontation, vulnerability, and relational problem solving (Matthew 18:15-20; John 8:321-32).
  9. Resource management: We believe in the management of personal and church resources are to be guided by biblical principles. This includes the concept of stewardship of time, money, and abilities (2 Corinthians 8:20-21).
  10. Excellence in service: We believe that excellence honours God, therefore we will give Him our best. This includes the concept of evolution and improvement (1 Corinthians 3:13).
